That have now to a life on trees. They live in mountain cloud forests at elevations of up to 11,000 feet, but they spend most of their time on tall trees that are at least 100 feet tall. Sadly though they are beginning to become extinct, because of loss of habitat and uncontrollable hunting. Up to 14 years in captivity. Tree kangaroos mostly eats tree leaves, though they also eat flowers, grass shoots, ferns, moss, and bark and sometimes young birds.
